Timely with the Swedish EU Presidency and European Year of Creativity and Innovation coming to an end, Chief Inspector Dave Fortune, seconded to Yorkshire Forward, hosted an ABBA themed event, to help both celebrate the year and learn about some successful and innovative projects coordinated in Yorkshire region, UK.

 

The half day event brought together a variety of different regionally based projects and initiatives that all operate at a European level. Coordinators described their projects, the lessons learnt and future plans of further collaboration on EU funded projects. These projects have benefited from several EU funding sources, ERDF, Interreg IV B and FP7 Security research and are making a real difference on their respective areas.
