Directions

By plane :

  1. International House is a 30-minute bus journey from Brussels Airport.
  2. The airport bus is the number 12 that runs to the Place du Luxembourg, a five-minute walk.
  3. Buses depart every 10 minutes throughout the day, in the evenings, the number 12 is replaced by the number 21 which follows a similar itinerary, but extends to Ducale/Hertog.
  4. A quicker alternative is the Brussels Airport Express train which departs from immediately below the airport terminal.
  5. This is about a 15 minute journey to Gare du Midi or Zuidstation

By train :

  1. All international, and the majority of domestic trains (including the express train from the airport) to Brussels stop at the main station Gare du Midi or Zuidstation.
  2. Follow the signs to the metro (underground) station.

By Metro :

  1. From the Gare du Midi, take metro lines 2 or 6 towards Simonis (Elisabeth).
  2. The closest Metro station to International House is Trne/Troon station, Journey time is approximately 10 minutes.
  3. Take the Rue Montoyer exit, International House is about 50m from the metro station exit at 45 rue du Commerce, the first street on the right.
